
The Mirmad Design Group was established on 15 September, 1987 when its founders decided to have an adventure and start a wooden furniture design business. Our first order was to furnish a residence in the city of Cuernavaca.
We then approached the Department of Equipment Purchase at the Cifra Group, and they made two orders consisting of 2 counters for the reception areas at the Aurrera stores located in Plateros and Perisur. Since then, we have enjoyed an excellent business relationship with Group Wal-Mart .
During this time we have had the opportunity to work with very wide variety of different customers such as: embassies, universities, shopping centers, banks, supermarket chains, department stores, cellular phone companies, companies that make stands for Fairs and Exhibitions, residential furniture companies, among others.
Two years ago, eager to grow and driven by customer demand, we started working also with metal, which allows us to adorn our wooden furniture with all kinds of metal accessories and attachments as well as to make store display furniture in all sorts of different finishes .
To date we have developed in such different areas as design, projection, manufacture, installation (throughout Mexico) and preventive and corrective maintenance of all types of furniture manufactured in wood and its derivatives in a wide variety of finishes.
Similarly, in this time we have been able to develop important competitive advantages that have turned us into one of the most prestigious and trustworthy companies in the market.

As mentioned, we started working only in wood, and the only tools we had were: a universal “Invisibile” machine that consists of a saw, a border trimmer and brush, peg and pin maker, a band saw, and another peg maker; that was the equipment with which we started out on this adventure. Today we now use state-of-the-art CNC (Computer Numerical controlled) systems, including a router bit, dimensioning tools, a veneering machine. We also possess a multiple saw, a mold maker, and heavy duty tools for producing and dowel rods and tenon joints.
With regards to metalwork, we currently have an Amada Brand Plasma Cutter and a CNC punch machine, plate cutting shears for cutting up to 3.00 meters; a metal plate bender with the same capacity; a hydraulic die caster with more than 15 dies and a capacity of up to 90 tons; a hydraulic Nargesa punching machine, 4 workstations for assembling metal in the MIG (wire feed) and TIG (argon), welding processes; a system for metal washing and preparation for electrostatic painting, among others. These tools allow us to produce the metallic components of our wood furniture with quality as well as to create a commercial channel.
